The idea for Azul came to me in the most unexpected yet magical way—during an electro music festival in California. I was wearing a pant my sister had created—woven with North African fabrics —and as I moved through the crowd, people kept stopping me to ask about it. What started as a simple compliment turned into conversations, stories, and connections. That moment made me realize—fashion is more than clothing. It’s a language. A bridge between cultures. A way to carry history forward.

Across Tunisia, skilled artisans bring each piece of our collection to life with care and tradition. Our signature fabric, the Sefsari, is crafted from 100% silk, capturing Tunisia’s rich heritage through its delicate patterns and refined texture. Alongside it, we feature the versatile fouta, handwoven from natural cotton—lightweight, soft, and perfect for everyday moments. Thoughtfully chosen linen and wool add extra layers of comfort and warmth.

In collaboration with Tunisian calligrapher Bayrem Tounsi, we created this piece as a gentle effort to preserve our heritage. Tifinagh is an ancient script used by the Amazigh people—indigenous to North Africa—and is celebrated for its simple, geometric beauty. As this language faces challenges, we honor its legacy by incorporating it into our boho jackets and coats.

Azul is made in Tunisia, where we work with artisans who weave, embroider, and dye fabrics in their own environments, at their own pace—just as their ancestors did. These small workshops, not factories, keep craftsmanship at the heart of everything, valuing skill and tradition over speed.

Here’s a little glimpse of what’s ahead: our limited-edition pastel kimono, crafted with care from handwoven Tunisian fouta fabric—lightweight, soft, and beautifully textured for everyday comfort. The classic Hraem cut adds a timeless flow, inspired by traditional silhouettes that feel both effortless and elegant.
